 성경장절  전도서 2장 16절
 개역개정 지혜자도 우매자와 함께 영원하도록 기억함을 얻지 못하나니 후일에는 모두 다 잊어버린 지 오랠 것임이라 오호라 지혜자의 죽음이 우매자의 죽음과 일반이로다
 KJV For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.
 NIV For the wise man, like the fool, will not be long remembered; in days to come both will be forgotten. Like the fool, the wise man too must die!
 공동번역 지혜로운 사람도 어리석은 사람과 함께 사람들의 기억에서 영원히 사라져 버린다. 전에도 그랬지만 앞으로도 모든 일은 잊혀지고 말리라. 지혜로운 사람도 어리석은 사람과 함께 죽지 않는가 !

 Afr1953 Want daar sal op die duur net so min gedagtenis wees van die wyse as van die dwaas, omdat in die dae wat kom, alles lankal vergeet is; en hoe sterf die wyse net soos die dwaas!
 BulVeren Защото няма вечно спомен нито за мъдрия, нито за безумния, защото в идещите дни всичко ще бъде вече забравено. И как умира мъдрият? ? Като безумния!
 Dan thi den vises Minde er lige s?lidt evigt som T?bens, fordi nu engang alt glemmes i kommende Dage; ak! den vise m? dø s? godt som T?ben.
